The aim of the activities that took place in our school, Colegiul Național Pedagogic ‘Regina Maria’ Deva, Hunedoara, Romania, was to popularize the Digital vs Traditional EK2 project through a series of activities in which as many students from our school as possible could participate. Until October 10, 2021, teachers were able to register using a google form distributed on the internal drive of our educational institution and announce with which class / students they will do the proposed activities. 

These were, at choice, the presentation of the partner countries (Turkey, Spain, France, Poland, Latvia) or an activity on the topic of Traditional and Digital Games, an activity that is part of the calendar of our project. 15 teachers were involved with more than 300 students.The activities were carried out during the classes at school or online. The students involved sent us a positive feedback and were they were glad to be a part of a European activity. They discovered new countries, theirs flags, customs and traditions on one hand and on the other they played and had fun at school.

Summary

20 Students were selected for the Erasmus Project, 16 answered the Mobility Questionnaire which can be seen at this address https://forms.gle/aCMbG5BFLSy8bDBMA.

4 Students were chosen to participate in the first mobility that will take place in Turkey in the last week of October 2021.

Online Meeting

Today we were glad to participate to an online meeting on Microsoft Teams with our partners from Turkey, France, Poland, Spain and Latvia. There were more than 90 participants at one point and the meeting lasted 2 hours and a half. There was a team of 5 students from each country and they made power presentations about their country, town, school and traditions. There were several kahoots, quizzes and one mentimeter prepared for the meeting as well. It was a great opportunity for students to get to know each other and to share their experience, feelings and impressions about this difficult period we all live in. 

All in all, it was a great meeting!

 

Romanian Students' Feedback

The meeting with our colleagues from Erasmus was very succesful and interesting! The presentations reminded me of how much I miss travelling and how much I want to meet these people, hopefully face to face. The countries are very beautiful and the people very nice and friendly! I hope we will get to see eachother very soon! (Raluca)

I’m glad I took part in this meeting. It was nice to meet some of our colleagues from another countries and learn about their culture, town, school and country. I can’t wait to meet them all, hopefully face to face. (Mina) 

The thing I liked the most about yesterday’s meeting it the fact you could literally feel everyone was willing to join and have a good time with the others and not to mention that every country tried their best with the presentation. (Andrei)

All I ever wanted in high-school was to experience my best life, to make bold and spontaneous decisions and, after all, good memories. Now, I have this chance because of Erasmus. It was amazing to interact with other students, getting to know a little bit more about their country and, to be honest, to talk in English. One day, I hope we'll have the opportunity to visit them face to face. (Ale)

LOGO Competition 

Elevii implicați în proiectul Erasmus+ Digital vs Traditional au lucrat în luna decembrie pentru a se pregăti pentru competiția din luna ianuarie unde fiecare școală din proiect va prezenta un logo și o mascotă. Elevii din Turcia, Franța, Polonia, Spania, Letonia și România vor vota cel mai bun logo și cea mai bună mascotă. 

The students involved in the Erasmus + Digital vs Traditional project worked in December to prepare for the January competition where each school in the project will present a logo and a mascot. Students from Turkey, France, Poland, Spain, Latvia and Romania will vote for the best logo and the best mascot.
